Anuschka Blommers is a Dutch photographer known for her vibrant and colorful images of everyday life. Born in Amsterdam in 1971, she began her career as a fashion photographer, shooting for magazines such as Vogue and Elle. In the late 1990s, she shifted her focus to documentary photography, capturing the lives of people in the Netherlands and abroad.

Blommers has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa to document the lives of people living in poverty or facing other social issues. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. She has also published several books of her photographs, including “The World Through My Eyes” (2005) and “The Human Condition” (2009).

In addition to her photography work, Blommers is also an active advocate for social justice. She has worked with organizations such as Amnesty International and UNICEF to raise awareness about human rights issues around the world. In 2010, she was awarded the Dutch Royal Award for Photography for her contributions to documentary photography.
