Anna Wolf is a renowned photographer and visual artist based in Berlin, Germany. She is best known for her captivating and thought-provoking images that explore the human condition.

Anna was born in East Berlin in 1982, and grew up during the tumultuous years of the fall of the Berlin Wall. She developed an interest in photography at an early age, and began taking pictures of her family and friends as a way to document her life. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, where she studied photography and visual communication.

In 2006, Anna moved to New York City to pursue her career as a professional photographer. She quickly gained recognition for her unique style of portraiture, which often featured people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, Vogue Italia, and The Guardian.

In addition to her photography work, Anna has also created several short films that have been screened at film festivals around the world. Her most recent project is a documentary about refugees living in Germany titled “The Long Journey Home” which was released in 2018.

Anna’s work has been exhibited internationally including at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. In 2019 she was awarded the prestigious Hasselblad Masters Award for her outstanding contributions to photography.

Anna continues to push boundaries with her work by exploring themes such as identity, displacement, and belonging through her lens. Her photographs are powerful reminders of our shared humanity that will continue to inspire generations to come.
