Angelika Wierzbicka is a Polish photographer and visual artist based in Warsaw. She has been working in the field of photography since the early 2000s, and her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications around the world.

Angelika's work focuses on exploring the relationship between people and their environment, often through a combination of documentary photography and staged scenes. Her photographs are characterized by a strong sense of composition, light, and color, as well as an eye for detail.

In addition to her photographic practice, Angelika is also an active member of the Polish art community. She has served as a jury member for several photography competitions, including the International Photography Awards in 2018. She is also a founding member of the Warsaw-based collective "Fotografia Polska", which promotes contemporary Polish photography.

Angelika's work has been exhibited at galleries and museums around the world, including The Museum of Modern Art in New York City, The National Museum of Photography in Copenhagen, The Photographers' Gallery in London, and The Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw. Her photographs have also been featured in publications such as Vogue Italia, GEO Magazine Germany, and Harper's Bazaar Poland.

In 2020 Angelika was awarded the prestigious Grand Prix at the International Festival of Photography "Photofest" for her series "The Other Side". This series explores themes of identity and belonging through portraits taken on both sides of Poland's border with Belarus.

Angelika continues to explore new ways to express her vision through photography while pushing boundaries within her practice.
