Angela Eichhorn is a German photographer and visual artist based in Berlin. She is known for her unique and captivating images that explore the relationship between people and their environment.

Eichhorn was born in Berlin in 1975, and began her career as a photographer in the late 1990s. She studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld, Germany, where she graduated with a degree in photography and media art. After graduating, she worked as an assistant to renowned photographers such as Thomas Struth and Andreas Gursky.

In 2003, Eichhorn began to focus on her own work, which often features landscapes or cityscapes that are transformed by human presence. Her work has been exhibited internationally at galleries such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. In addition to her photographic work, Eichhorn has also created video installations and multimedia projects that explore themes of identity and belonging.

Eichhorn's work has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, Vogue Italia, and Harper's Bazaar. She has also received numerous awards for her work including the International Photography Award from Sony World Photography Awards (2015) and the Prix Pictet (2016).

Eichhorn continues to live and work in Berlin where she is currently working on a new series of photographs exploring urban life.
