Alexandra Nataf is a French photographer and visual artist based in Paris. She is best known for her intimate portraits of women, which explore themes of identity, femininity, and the human condition.

Nataf was born in Paris in 1988 and grew up surrounded by art and culture. She studied photography at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, France, where she developed her unique style of portraiture. After graduating in 2011, she began to exhibit her work internationally, including at the Rencontres d’Arles festival and the Foam Museum in Amsterdam.

Nataf’s work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue Italia, The New York Times Magazine, and The Guardian. She has also collaborated with brands such as Nike and Adidas on campaigns that celebrate female empowerment. In 2017, she was awarded the Prix Pictet for her series “The Inner Journey” which explored themes of identity through self-portraits taken around the world.

Nataf continues to push boundaries with her photography by exploring new techniques and perspectives. Her work has been described as “hauntingly beautiful” and “intimate yet powerful” – a testament to her ability to capture emotion through her lens.
