It’s since ever a rule that on a wedding no one beside the bride should wear the white color. White traditionally symbolizes youth and purity and it is worn only by the bride. That goes for ivory, cream, off-white, linen and all other pale variations. Female guests should not wear white – it’s really, really not polite to take away from the bride on her special day by wearing her color.
But it looks like that Naomi Campbell
didn’t take care of any rules and consequently appeared in a white Givenchy dress for the official dinner and ball of the wedding of Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene at the Opera Garnier last night.
It’s not that Naomi can’t buy or own a dress in another color, right? She upstaged Princess of Monaco and put her slimline evening dress designed by Armani in the shade.
But this wasn’t the only fauxpas during the wedding made by Naomi. For the marriage ceremony the British model appeared in a full-length dress.
