Hollywood actor, Leonardo DiCarprio 37, and supermodel, Erin Heatherton
23, took time off from their busy jet-setting schedules to spend some much needed R&R together. They had a cosy lunch at the Cuban Italian Candela restaurant and then hopped on their bikes for a leisurely ride through the streets of Manhattan.
It’s hard to go incognito when you’re a world-famous couple but this two did try. DiCarprio looked scraggly in an over-grown beard, cap and sunglasses and Erin looked spring-like in a brown tank-top, camel colored jacket paired with a short floral skirt which showed off her glam legs with the incognito factor being the sunglasses. They looked happy and all smiles as eyes focused on them but the two made the most of it playing “ordinary folks.”
The power couple have been spending a lot of time apart because of their busy schedules. DiCarprio has been away in Louisiana filming his latest film, Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained,” and the supermodel has been busy attending the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards and rocked a cheerleader’s uniform to film, “Grown-Ups 2.”
“Absence makes the heart grow fonder,” or is it “undying love?” The couple have been seeing each other for six months and that is not a long time but when measured in Hollywood time, it is a big deal and this relationship seems to be going the distance.
The elusive ladies man Leonardo has had a line of romances with celebrities and supermodels. He had romantic flings with Arizona-born model Amber Valletta, Danish beauty Helena Christensen, Liv Tyler, supermodel Naomi Campbell, model Eva Herzigova, supermodel Gisele Bundchen and a 2005-2010 romance with supermodel Bar Rafaeli. More recently he paired with Gossip Girl star, Blake Lively. They split last summer.
What does that tell you? The boyish looking actor has a penchant for supermodels, more specifically Victoria’s Secret models. So how long does love last in DiCarprio’s world? It seems until the next new Victoria’s Secret supermodel sensation comes along. That’s life folks.
Looking forward to the next chapter in the life and loves of Leonardo DiCarprio.
