Kaia Gerber is the new face of Chanel

Kaia Gerber is the new face of Chanel's spring 2018 handbag campaign.

After walking at the Milan Fashion Week for Fendi, the daughter of Cindy Crawford has become the latest muse of designer Karl Lagerfeld and solidified her place as the darling of the brand.

The campaign for the spring / summer 2018 handbag collection, was shot at Coco Chanel's private apartment at 31 Rue Cambon in Paris, located above the company's flagship store. In the black and white campaign images which were lensed by none other than Karl Lagerfeld himself, Kaia models the house's latest handbag designs while laying on a velvet sofa in front of a bookcase of the Coco Chanel.

Kaia follows in the footsteps of her famous mother and made her catwalk debut for Chanel in October 2017. Since then she appeared in every other show of the label - both at the presentation of the 'Metiers d'Art' collection in Hamburg in December as well as the big haute couture Show in Paris in January.

Kaia is said to be designing a collection of ready-to-wear, jewelry, shoes, and accessories for Lagerfeld's namesake brand that will launch in September.
