Jessica Stam, Chanel Iman, and Hanaa Ben Abdesslem help launch Giambattista Valli for Macy's
October 28th, 2011
Giambattista Valli has created a collection for Macy's Impulse Only. The designer made the collection for Macy's following in the footsteps of others such as Matthew Williamson and Karl Lagerfeld. The collection is of course a lower priced line than his actual Giambattista Valli line. The designer said that he“ thought it was the right moment. It’s like these are collector’s pieces. It’s almost like they’re a passport to get into my world.” Valli also called the collection as "fun pieces for fresh, young girls." The pieces that he created for Macy's are definitely short fun party dresses, some with animal prints and some embellished all to bring out the fun side of any girl. He had models Chanel Iman, Jessica Stam, and Hanaa Ben Abdesslem help him launch the collection with all the girls decked out in the new Giambattista Valli for Macy's Impulse collection. Chanel Iman was dressed in a animal print dress while Stam and Abdesslem word short strapless numbers. The models couldn't have been better choices for the launch as all three represent the young fun girl who loves to go out and have a good time which Valli's collection is all about. The next designer to launch a collection for Macy's will be Doo.Ri Chung next February.
