Ashley Graham is the star of Vogue Italia's 'Beauty Beyond Size' series, for its December 2017 issue which highlights diversity in beauty.
The plus size model and body activist shared six photos, all of which are in black and white from the upcoming spread on her Instagram yesterday. The most striking aspect of the shoot is that Graham is presented completely as herself, without photoshop. 'When they don't retouch you,' she wrote in one post, while in another she thanked the Fashion glossy, 'thank you to this amazing team!!'.
Not afraid to show her fans how a model without retouch is simply at its best, Graham sports various elegant lingerie pieces, out-of-bed hair and a dramatic cat-eye on her eyes. In a standout photo from the shoot she wears a leopard print corset of Dolce & Gabbana and black tights, while in another she flaunts her curves in black lingerie. She also wore looks from Marina Rinaldi and Brandon Maxwell.
Vogue Italia is known for pushing boundaries in the fashion world. Under the reign of the late Franca Sozzani, the magazine focused on political and social issues in shoots.
