While were used to seeing Agyness Deyn
only in the fashion circuit, spending most if not all of her time modeling, Deyn has taken a different path as of recently. She is spending much of her time acting now as she is a part of two projects. The first to be a lead role in the remake of Pusher, starring Deyn and Richard Coyle. The film is directed by Luis Prieto and is circles around a drug dealer in London. Deyn is also making a short film with Waris Ahluwalia. The two are on a road trip together along with Tilda Swinton and director Luis Guadagnino traveling through Hawaii, Vermont, and Arizona. The film is for luxurycollection.com. Stylist for the film, Heidi Bivens explained to WWD
that “It’s about a woman who is a free spirit and has a lover leading her on this journey,” and “It’s a treasure hunt kind of a journey.” The film is set to be released on luxurycollection.com come January. Will this be the start of something new for Deyn and turn her into a full time actress? We have to see.
