Max Mara enlists Amy Adams for fall accessories ads

Amy Adams has been revealed as the face of Italian fashion group Max Mara to advertise its new accessories collection. The stunning brunette has replaced fellow actress Jennifer Garner as face of the popular brand.

Adams was photographed by Mario Sorrenti. In the photos the 'American Hustle' star poses with Max Mara key styles such as the Signature Bag and the classic Margaux, as well as new eyewear styles, produced under license by Italy’s Safilo Group.

Giorgio Guidotti, worldwide president of public relations and communications for Max Mara Group, was keen to get another big name in for the brand following Jennifer's involvement. “Jennifer Garner was the first celebrity we worked with [on the accessories campaigns] and the feedback we received was excellent both in terms of sell-in and sell-out, and in terms of credibility,” he told WWD. ''This new step is a sign of continuity. The claim is the same, 'Timeless is now.' These are timeless actresses, not associated to a scoop of the moment.''

Amy's collaboration with Max Mara is to be celebrated with a dinner for around 80 people today in North America. The bash will be hosted by Maria Giulia Prezioso Maramotti, and photographer Mario will also present a short film about the venture.
