Jessica Alba has collaborated with New York-based denim brand DL1961 to launch a designer capsule collection of jeans.
The collection, which was first announced back in February, marks the Hollywood actress' first foray into fashion design and consists of 18 denim styles ranging from high-waisted flares to classic straight cut denim and boyfriend jeans.
The super-fit denim, is engineered to give the female body the ultimate hold and comfort, a contoured denim look and add illusion to the shape. 'Jessica embodies the spirit of the DL woman - confident, style conscious and business savvy. Our goal together is to offer women a superior product that makes them feel great while also having an impact on the environment,' DL1961 creative director Sarah Ahmed said in a press release.
The stunning Spring campaign was lensed by Max Vadukul and features Alba in an array of denim, from high-waisted skinnies, to dark and destroyed pairs. 'It's my first foray into fashion design, but I know I want to design for women of every body type. Feeling beautiful and confident in a pair of jeans is what every woman wants, and I want to be able to give them that,' she said about the capsule collection.
The Jessica Alba x DL1961 collection is available on DL1961 and Shopbop, but will be also available in the UK at Harrods and Harvey Nichols later this month.
