Raking in enough funds to top a Forbes list is not an easy feat. Both Oprah and Tyler Perry have made the magazine's infamous lists. Today, Tyra Banks follows suit as she becomes the top earning woman in prime-television.
Earning some $30 million over a twelve month period, Forbes says Banks' supermodel turned super-personality adjustment has paid off.
Like other leading women on the list, including Katherine Heigl, Banks' ability to multi-task, working on several projects both in front of and behind the screen has contributed to wealth.
According to the magazine, Banks' wealth comes from the popular America's Next Top Model series as well as her daytime talk show; frequent cameos; and notably behind the scenes work that includes acting as a producer on ABC's True Beauty as well as the former CW series 'Stylista'.
Eva Longoria(no.4 $9 million) (Desperate Housewives), Katherine Heigl (no.2 - $18 million), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (No. 6) and “30 Rock’s” Tina Fey (no.8) also made the list.
