TWEED model Samantha Harris has a busy weekend ahead, beginning with a catwalk show for GC Bazaar and ending with a public appearance at one of the most talked-about model searches in the country.
First up on Friday, the teen is booked to star in the Lisa Brown Fashion Tea Party at Salt Village, where award-winning Merrimac designer Lisa will showcase her latest range.
Then on Saturday, Samantha will be special guest judge in the 2008 Schwarzkopf Live Colour Girlfriend Model Search.
The Queensland finals are on at Westfield Carindale, Brisbane, where Coast hopefuls are welcome to roll the dice on stage between 9am and 1pm.
Samantha was a finalist in the search in 2004, the year in which the eventual national winner happened to be Abbey Lee -- now rated among the top 20 world-wide models on the models.com website.
The 2003 search saw Logan girl Catherine McNeil win. She is now listed as the No. 9 model in the world.
Sounds like a worthwhile trip up the M1 if you have the look.
