Naomi Campbell, whose relationship with the Russian millionaire, Vladislav Doronin, is bubbling away as nicely as a bowl of hot Borscht, stars as a ‘tsarina’ in the latest issue of V magazine.
Ms Campbell was photographed by the Chanel couturier and part-time snapper, Karl Lagerfeld.
With the chicest and most historic parts of Moscow as a backdrop, Lagerfeld captured Naomi at her imperious, sensual best. She wears a wardrobe of designer label clothes - so opulent and costly you would need an oligarch’s credit card to be able to afford them - including the most de luxe pieces from the new autumn/winter collections of Chanel, Christian Dior, Marc Jacobs, Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander McQueen.
The Moscow-based shoot is right on target - there's a minor Russian Revolution going on at both designer level and the high street.
