Supermodel Milla Jovovich is convinced that her name has caused her to lose acting parts.
In an interview with ContactMusic, the former supermodel revealed that she thinks directors only cast her as superheroes because of her unusual name and looks. The Resident Evil star, 30, was born in Kiev in the former U.S.S.R.  Milla said, "My name has screwed me up more than my looks.  It makes Americans go, 'Oh, she's foreign, so she has to be an alien or a superhero.'  I'm sure if my name was something anonymous like Melissa Gillheart it would be fine."
