Gisele: Tom & Bridget's Son Is 100% Mine
(March 30) - Now that Gisele Bundchen has tied the knot with Tom Brady, she's staking her claim on his son, John Edward Moynahan. Even though Bundchen isn't the maternal mother, she believes she can take on the role just as good (if not better) than Brady's ex. "I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that. But to me, it's not like because somebody else delivered him, that's not my child -- I feel it is, 100 percent," she told Vanity Fair (via OK! Magazine.)
In 2007, Brady's ex, Bridget Moynahan, gave birth to the Super Bowl MVP's son after Brady had settled into a relationship with Bundchen. But the model claims that only brought them closer together.
"It was definitely a surprise for both of us," she says. "In the beginning, you're living this romantic fantasy; you're thinking this can't be true, it's so good! And then, whoops – wake-up call!" Bundchen said.
Meanwhile, Bundchen feels like Brady's son is like her own child.
"I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, because that's important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he's my son, from the first day," she said. "He's a little angel – the sweetest, most cuddly, loving baby. I feel blessed to have him in my life," she adds.
