Hello my name is Canditta & I have just finished reading your book 'Desert Flower' & like every woman & man on this earth that has read it I cried, laughted & now have an even deeper way of looking at life! I just typed in Waris Dirie & this was the first page that came up so sorry all you fashion people but I had to let someone know how amazing this woman is & how much she has changed my life! Not sure if you will ever see this Waris but you have made a difference in the world for sure! I have 2 beautifull girls Binitta & Aroha & live in Australia. I had a traumatic childhood & often looked back complaining until now.......Now I have sponsered a little girl age 5 who lives in Sierra Lione named Adamsay.....there are ALWAYS people who have it worse & never complain.
