In early April 2004 she shocked Sweden by revealing that her father was a Turk living in Istanbul. Her mother had conceived Vendela in Istanbul.

are you sure , cause what i know she said that she doesnt like her turkish ethnity and that her dad left the family..

Vendela's father is from Sweden, not Turkey. In an interview she said "My ethnicity? I'm Norwegian-Swedish, ethnically." Her father's name is Lennart Persson, not a Turk.
