- Julia is the daughter of Carine Roitfield (Former Fashion Stylist and currently Editor-in-Chief of the French edition of Vogue) and Christian Restoin the creator of the 'Equipment' clothing line, which he closed in 2001 after Roitfeld accepted the Vogue editorship.
- Julia has a younger brother, Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld.
