Hailing from Israel, Valeria Yapanova is an up-and-coming model whose flawless face and fabulous body arrests the attention as soon as she enters the room. In spite of the fact that this green eyed beauty has been described as a gentle and funny type, she has all the necessary attributes to conquer the magazine covers around the world.
We're certain we will be seeing more of Elite Model’s Valeria in the near future and decided to interview her...

How did you get started in the modeling business?
Valeria: My mom convinced me to meet some agencies.

Did you ever think you'd be doing this?
Valeria: Not in a milion years.

What do you like most about modeling? What do you like least?
Valeria: The traveling and the beautiful people. I like least, the traveling and the beautiful people :-)

Have you encountered any surprises along the way?
Valeria: Every little thing that happens to me in this business is a suprise to me.

Ever get tempted to get pulled into the party scene?
Valeria: Yes, you can't run away from it, but it's all about balance. There's time for work and time for parties.

Have you developed any new interests since you started modeling?
Valeria: Photography.

What are your favourite things to do in your free time?
Valeria: Writing, music of course and old movies.

Out of all the places your career has taken you, where was the most memorable?
Valeria: Tokyo, Japan. A great exprience.

Do you have a mentor? Who? What is it about them that affects you? Why?
Valeria: My mentor is my agent, when you've been working with someone for a while noone knows you better. Especially when you are far away from the family and traveling alot, the person that takes care of me anywhere is my agent.

Where do you see yourself in ten years? What could be your next career?
Valeria: 10 years? Family, still traveling... and career as a journalist.

What are your best beauty secrets? How do you stay in shape?
Valeria: I don't have any. Just eating right.

Any advice for new models? What advice would you give other models starting out?
Valeria: You need patience.

Valeria: Jazz, classic rock, blues, electronic.
