about

London designer Alice Temperley is the name behind the brand Temperley London. Alice Temperley decided to launch her own brand Temperley London in 2000 in collaboration with her husband Lars Von Bennigsen.

Since its launch during London Fashion Week 2000, the Temperley London label has become synonymous with timeless glamour, exquisite craftsmanship and collections desired by women all over the world.

Following the establishment of the first Temperley boutique in London's Notting Hill in 2002, three further stand-alone stores have opened their doors in New York (2003), Los Angeles (2005), and Dubai (2008). Temperley produces four collections a year including a highly sought-after Ready-To-Wear line, Bridal, Accessories and its exclusive "Black Label" collection of exquisite evening dresses. Temperley London is now also sold online as well as globally in 35 countries and over 220 stockists.

Constantly evolving, Alice plans to extend her love of surface decoration and unrivalled craftsmanship with more Temperley boutiques - as well as extending the line to include home ware, travel accessories, menswear and childrenswear. The Temperley design philosophy is set to extend its influence, transforming it from one of Britain's leading luxury brands to an all-encompassing lifestyle.

The Look

Temperley London has become known for its glamorous and elegant style. The designs are always luxurious and refined, like the draped dresses, printed tunics and coloured skirts. Many of the pieces are ornate with pearls, embroidery and lace
