Ralph Rucci established his label in New York in 1982 and now has his showroom on Seventh Avenue.

Since 1994, he has called his Ready-to-Wear collections CHADO, named after a Japanese tea ceremony which creates an overall sense of grace and elegance.

In July 2002 he unveiled his first ever genuinely couture collection.

The Look

Ralph Rucci Chado marries the disciplines of art and philosophy in his designs. The unique approach to fashion springs from his desire to endow the clothes he makes with not just elegance, but calm and grace to dress woman in a quiet manner, so that her clothes become a sublte reflection of her own personality.
