The company has its head offices in San Mauro Pascoli, an area that is famous for its shoe industries, and was founded by Paola Frani and Davide Fusaroli at the end of the 1980’s as Scrupoli S.n.c. At the beginning, it was a small artisan workshop like many others in Italy; Paola e Davide had one only ambition - to succeed in the field of prêt-à-porter.

Just two decades later, the company has grown at a steady pace, and has now become an industry: at present, over 100 direct collaborators are involved, and with other linked activities, that figure rises to almost 1000 with the support of more than 60 Italian manufacturers / contractors.

Paola and Davide are hardly working side by side dividing their roles: Paola has the Stylist Direction and Davide has the Managing Direction. It proved to be a winning partnership that led them to achieve increasingly important goals right up to the transformation of the company into Paola Frani S.r.l. in 2001 and finally into Paola Frani S.p.a. in January 2007. This confirms the final step from an artisan company to an industrial company with a highly professional management profile.

To complete the group of places and spaces for the company`s activity, Paola Frani Spa own a showroom in Milan , which also function as press office, sales office and guest quarters and a shop in Milan with Paola Frani logo in Corso Venezia,6 and a contiguous warehouse, directly managed.

Furthermore, showrooms into flagshipstores, shop in shops and focus points lead by third part companies with franchising and/or partnership agreements are to be mentioned.

In 2000 an agreement was signed with the Japanese financial giant AOI which led to open her first two flagship stores in Tokyo.

In 2007 Paola Frani Company signed an agreement with a Chinese partner which lead to the opening of 10 flagship stores.
