L.A.M.B. is an American fashion brand founded by singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani out of her love of design and fashion in 2004. The brand name L.A.M.B. is an acronym of Gwen Stefani’s first solo album, Love.Angel.Music.Baby. L.A.M.B. is a luxurious collection of clothing, shoes, handbags, watches, and fragrance based on Stefani’s personal style and aesthetic.
In late summer 2007, Stefani launched a perfume, 'L', as a part of her L.A.M.B. collection of clothing and accessories.
L.A.M.B has come a long way in eight years. What began as six months of designing apparel in Gwen’s kitchen has grown into a full collaborative effort with extensive retail sales adn parnerships.
The Look
The brand is defined by Gwen’s innate sense of stgyle swich often features a playful juxtaposition between classic Hollywood movie star glamour and more modern and casual street influences. L.A.M.B is always a mixture of vintage inspiration mashed up with modern and futuristic elements. Gwen mixed old with new and feminine with masculine. She likes the contrast and the clash and the resulting balance she gets mixing soft and hard elements. She goes back tot hat inspiration over and over again. Billowy silk tank dresses mingle with funky pants, tees, and jackets sporting the L.A.M.B. logo.
