Kim opened her first retail store in the East Village of downtown New York in 1997.
Eugenia Kim manufactures and designs hats and accessories that can now be found at Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Net-a-Porter.com, as well as over 200 specialty boutiques worldwide. Her hats have graced the runways of Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Coach, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Catherine Malandrino.
In 2009, she did a line called Eek! for Urban Outfitters.
In 2010, she debuted her limited-edition "Eugenia Kim for Target" hat line, which she says was inspired by "Old Cuba". Kim is the first milliner to design a collection for Target.
